Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Povvie (“the Platform”). By creating an account, publishing content, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Ownership and Rights to Content

1.1. Writers on the Platform (“Povvers”) retain full ownership and copyright to their works, including stories, articles, and all content submitted (“Povvies”).
1.2. By publishing on Povvie, Povvers grant Povvie a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, distribute, and promote the content for as long as it remains published on the Platform.
1.3. Povvers may remove their content at any time. However, any coins awarded for publishing will be deducted upon unpublishing.

2. Coins and Payment

2.1. Povvers and readers may earn coins for publishing, reading, or performing activities on the Platform.
2.2. Coins may be converted to USD at the following rates:

• 50,000 coins = $50 (bank transfer minimum payout).
• 5,000 coins = $5 (PayPal minimum payout, available once PayPal withdrawals are enabled).
  2.3. Bank transfer fees and third-party payment charges are the responsibility of the user (Povver or reader) and will not be covered by Povvie.
  2.4. Users are responsible for providing accurate payment details. Povvie is not liable for failed, delayed, or lost payments due to incorrect information provided by the user.
  2.5. Once coins are transferred or donated to another account, transactions are final and cannot be reversed.

3. Reader Accounts

3.1. Readers may earn coins through daily tasks and other activities.
3.2. Readers may convert coins to cash under the same rules as Povvers.
3.3. Readers may donate coins to Povvers. Such donations are voluntary and irreversible.

4. Content Standards

4.1. Povvers must submit original and genuine content, which may be based on:

• Personal knowledge or experience, or
• Research, consultations, or information learned from others, provided it is factual and not misleading.
  4.2. Misleading, plagiarized, or false content is prohibited.
  4.3. AI-generated content:
• Fully AI-generated submissions without meaningful human input are not allowed.
• AI-assisted content (human-created content refined or polished with AI tools) is permitted.
• Accounts repeatedly submitting non-compliant AI content may be suspended or terminated after two warnings.

5. Platform Responsibility and Disclaimer

5.1. Povvie editors strive to ensure quality and factual accuracy. However, Povvie does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content.
5.2. All content published represents the views, thoughts, and opinions of the Povvers, not Povvie, its founder, or its staff.
5.3. Content is provided for informational and educational purposes only. It should not be considered professional advice in areas such as health, finance, or law. Use of the Platform and reliance on its content is at your own risk.

6. Account and Termination

6.1. Povvie reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account found in violation of these Terms.
6.2. Accounts submitting repeated AI-generated content or other prohibited material may be deleted after two warnings.

7. Amendments

Povvie may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
